Entrepreneurial time

Until you value yourself, you won't value your time. Until you value your time, you will not do anything with it - M. Scott Peck.

Embarking On My Digital Journey: Entrepreneurial Time

Embarking on my digital journey has definitely started and I have hit the ground running!

There is an abundance of information to digest, to discover, to learn and implement.   Sometimes it can be overwhelming and that’s when my lists come in to play.   The technical side of things can be a bit tedious.  Recently a new rule was brought in for domain names and some particular technical bits and pieces are now required to stop spam so that was something I had to implement.

I am preparing behind the scenes and that old saying about Rome not being built in a day, I totally agree with!  One big tick is I have managed to get my email welcome series complete, which I am thrilled about. This means when a person subscribes to my website form on the bottom of my website pages they will get my emails welcoming them and I also have some fabulous PDF FREEBIES for them as well.   While I was writing my email’s it brought up so many business support ideas which is great!

However, what it really did highlight to me and reminded me that I am on Entrepreneurial Time.

What does this mean?  Have you heard of this before?

Entrepreneurial time, refers to the mindset and approach to time management often adopted by entrepreneurs. Unlike the traditional 9-to-5 work schedule, entrepreneurial time is characterised by flexibility, adaptability, and a focus on results rather than hours worked.

Simply it refers to the time from conception of your idea, to paper, to implementation, to action and finally to your income.

Some of the key aspects about entrepreneurial time are: flexibility, being results orientated, adaptability, efficiency, work life integration and the main aspect is continuous learning.

So while you’re busily setting up your business, planning everything from leases, finances, social media, website and people this is your Entrepreneurial time. Once your planning comes into fruition and you’re business is paying you, you are on your way.  Maybe you will be able to give up that job which is subsidising you, yes!!  That is on my list for sure too 🙂

I am going to write a much deeper eBook about this topic as it really deserves so much more.  I feel it does get lost and will help a lot of Solopreneurs to understand their time in their new business.

In the big wide world away from the business world, one of our girls flew to Sydney for the Swifty concert. They made a weekend of it, caught up with family, enjoyed the sites and had a ball!

How fun, I mean why not go. I believe and know that short breaks are such a good breath of fresh air and change of scenery.

Until next weekend, take great care and email me any time for a chat.

My warmest regards
